This stunning Vintage Style Black Peasant Blouse is inspired by the popular peasant styles favoured in the late 1930s through to the early 50s. Featuring embroidery adapted from an original Hungarian period piece from the 1930s.

The Vintage Style Black Peasant Blouse is a fantastic summer blouse. Features include a cropped length, shirred neckline as well as stunning floral embroidery. The smocking on the neckline is finished with ties, which can be worn open or closed to create keyhole, for a versatile look. Stretch smocking on sleeves and hem creates the flattering blouson look.

Beautiful floral embroidery of blue and red flowers, light green leaves, and gold adorn the bodice front and shoulders. All the colours make the blouse really versatile.  We love it paired with red, light blue, and mustard as well as classic black and denim.

For an authentic vintage look, wear this top with high-waisted separates. We love the idea of throwing it on under some high-waisted dungarees for a casual look. You could also pair it with a high-waisted skirt for an effortless summer evening style.

Finally, this top has no fastenings - just pull it over your head.
