This 1950s style waspie is designed to add definition to your waist comfortably for a retro hourglass look. Featuring a peach satin tummy panel with powermesh sides and back. The Glamour Nouveau Waspie also has elastic waist tape to aid cinching for a dreamy hourglass effect. Finally there are hook and eye fastenings at front and spiral steel boning.
Powermesh waspies and waist cinchers will not give the dramatic curves of a non stretch steel boned corset as they do contain stretch fabrics. However the Glamour Nouveau Waspie should give a noticeable reduction to the waist. The look you achieve will depend on your body composition. If you are naturally quite soft then you will get more of an hourglass shape than if you have a lot of core muscle.

Perfect. I have the longer version too, I felt this one was more comfortable (but I still couldn’t wear it for more than 8-10 hours I think). Cinches in very nicely! I did size down, I went with my normal UK size 10. This brings my waist down from about 28 inch to 27 inches, making some dresses easier to wear.

Absolutely perfect and just what I’ve been looking for. The corsets I usually wear are quite restrictive and don’t have much room at the hips and lower chest to move. So I thought I’d try this one as it seemed to only really take in the waist. Am so glad I bought it!! The fabric is really light weight and so flexible, doesn’t feel restrictive at all. Doesn’t affect the hips or lower chest at all. I can move in it so comfortably and easily. Can wear it all day compared to others. Am usually a 4-6 and got a size 8 in the corset. Definitely gives the waspie look however id size down if you want that deep hourglass look like in the photos. Id recommend it if Ur looking for a really flexible and light corset to wear daily and still wanting that snatched waist. Great purchase, thank you so much!!
