1940s Dungaree Dolls

The 1940s Dungaree Dolls from Freddies of Pinewood are authentic reproduction denim at it's best. Effortlessly add some vintage style to your everyday look with these fantastic wide leg dungarees.

The versatile 1940s Dungaree Dolls are made from indigo denim with no stretch. Features include a high waist and wide legs. They have huge pockets on the front, a cute hanky pocket and patch pockets on the back. The straps cross at the back and fasten with two buttons at the front. The side zip is hidden inside one of the front pockets for a really neat look. Pair these dungarees with everything from t shirts to blouses for a range of vintage inspired looks. We are particularly fond of teaming them with cardigans and a hair scarf for instant retro charm. The cuff/turn up is not stitched in so you can turn them up as much as you like for the perfect length for you. These dungarees are fabulously high waisted - much higher than even most high street high waisted jeans! They will sit at your natural waist, just below your rib cage. We strongly recommend that you check the size chart for these dungarees before ordering. We have added some detailed information and general advice to the size chart but if you are unsure please feel free to contact us for some advice. Fit note - Denim "gives" with wear and it is ok if they fit a little snug at first, they will soon ease. Top tip - if the waist is tight it can be ironed inside, to stretch it. Made from authentic 100% cotton denim, so machine washable. Just turn inside out to retain colour and wash at 30 or 40 degrees.
