Peggy Sue Floral Print Dress from The House of Foxy!

If you are a fan of 1940’s style then you will LOVE the Peggy Sue Dress! The Peggy Sue dress takes inspiration from late 1940s dresses and Dior’s New Look which launched in 1947.

The Peggy Sue dress features a raised collar and 5 individual hand stitched chartreuse green buttons, with diamante effect, down to the centre front. The bodice has 2 pleats on each shoulder and with a kimono style short sleeve. These pretty sleeves gives plenty of room for movement. The sleeve has a small turn up.

There are two darts in the bodice to nip in at the waist seam, which looks really authentic and features a side zip. The fabric is our a high quality rayon (viscose) crepe and has a lovely drape printed in a beautiful Spring Garden.

To style this dress for a fun day out we would add the Renee Sandals for a fun summer time style, a retro jelly bag to store those essentials, a hair flower to match the floral print, a pair of sunglasses in case there is sunshine (fingers crossed) and of course a classic red lipstick.
